Free screenings, early detection

Acting Kavango East health director Nairenge Sakeus yesterday urged women aged 25 and above to take advantage of the ongoing free cervical cancer screening campaign running until 26 June across the region.

Sakeus says the campaign, rolled out across various clinics, is aimed at strengthening early detection and treatment of cervical cancer, particularly among women living with HIV who are at higher risk due to weakened immunity.
