Endjala annual memorial lecture to be launched in Windhoek
The Endjala family has announced the launch of the John “Akapandi” Endjala Annual Memorial Lecture, an initiative to honour and celebrate the life and legacy of the late businessman and community figure. Endjala died on 23 January 2022. He was widely recognised for his humanity, strong sense of fatherhood, excellence in business, solidarity, compassion, love and what the family described as legendary leadership. The inaugural lecture is scheduled to take place in Windhoek on 4 June 2026, which would have marked his birthday. Admission to the lecture will be free, but members of the public will be required to register in advance to secure their seats. The family said, in keeping with Endjala’s well-known spirit of giving, they are also inviting those who wish to make contributions or pledges to do so. Funds raised will be used to continue philanthropic initiatives in his honour.
