Debt relief for Rundu residents

Residents and businesses in Rundu with outstanding municipal debts will soon have an opportunity to clear their accounts without paying accumulated interest under a new interest waiver programme introduced by the town council.

In a statement, the council said consumers who settle the full capital amount owed on their municipal accounts during the 24-month programme period, starting 1 July, will qualify for a 100% waiver of accumulated interest.
