#JustIn: Namibian chef makes headlines in the UAE

Elizabeth Isai, a student chef enrolled at the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST), won silver at the Global Chefs Challenge. The competition took place in Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 29 to 30 May. Before the competition, Isai had been hard at work, practicing with her mentor Ralph Hergott. The Namibian Chefs Association has been supporting Isai and made her journey to the UAE possible. According to the young chef, all went as planned during the competition and she was able to deliver on all her courses. "It was a great experience," Isai said.
