EDITORIAL: Preachers’ perversion a ticking time bomb
“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?” – Matthew 16:26
These questions – originally confined to Bible leaves - would soon be asked in courts to lusty, pulpit pimps masquerading as preachers, but who in fact are rapist hooligans hiding in robes.
In the past few days, preachers – some from the revered traditional denominations – have outweighed regular criminals in dominating headlines for rape and other acts of sexual abuse.
Instead of staying within the body of Christ, they are in women’s bodies, by force and deceit. They no longer care for the eternal salvation of self or others. Little girls are being deflowered, while older women are asked to bend over, so that they can be blessed from behind.
They use intimidation in their unrighteous quest for criminal sex acts, and spirituality to lift the skirts of God’s flock. Pulpit bullies! Forget the jungle that was the Garden of Eden, here is a wild, wild west in the church chambers and altars.
Preachers used to be in the news for being shepherds of the Lord’s gospel. Today, they stretch newspaper column inches and TV broadcast slots with their perversion.
They have become Satan’s agents of evil and fury. God has been elbowed to the edge of the cliff – but He will not fall. May He save us from this gang of perverted men!
