FNB Namibia has been awarded the title of Top Employer in Namibia and Africa for 2026 by the Top Employers Institute, marking the second consecutive year the bank has received this prestigious recognition.

The certification reaffirms FNB Namibia’s commitment to creating a high-performing organisation through data-driven people strategies, independent validation, and a

clear focus on practices that drive business performance, employee engagement and growth.

Commenting on the achievement, Isdor Angula, chief human capital officer of FirstRand Namibia, said the recognition reflects the bank’s commitment to its people, which he described as unwavering.

“It demonstrates the consistency and intentionality of how the organisation invests in its people. It is always an honour to receive such a prestigious recognition. To receive it for the second time is an even greater honour, as it affirms that we are not only doing what matters, but we are doing so consistently,” said Angula.

Conrad Dempsey, Group CEO of FirstRand Namibia, highlighted the broader impact of investing in people as part of the Group’s long-term vision for Namibia.

“Building a globally competitive Namibia starts with investing in people. Our people are our greatest asset, and it is our responsibility to create an environment that enables them to perform at their best,” said Dempsey.

“Our people strategy is intentionally designed to attract, develop and retain top talent, while fostering a culture of excellence, inclusion and shared purpose,” he added.
