Entrepreneurial movement inspires youth

The Business Box is a movement focusing on sports and youth development aimed at fostering an entrepreneurial culture in Namibia. According to Etienne Raymond of Business Box in Swakopmund, every person on this planet is here for a specific reason and purpose. "The youth has a massive impact on the economy and if they don’t find that place to make a contribution to society and create things, then there’s also no economic movement."Raymond believes that it is important for the youth to understand who they are, value themselves and understand how to do things."Unfortunately, schools and universities don't teach you to think. They'll teach you how to do it and tell you what to do."At Business Box, they make sure that entrepreneurs understand every aspect of the business. "Our school is a hub of knowledge and expertise, providing world-class courses and coaching products designed to empower you to reach new heights of success."Access from everywhere For the team at Business Box, it doesn’t matter at what stage of your business development you are. "We will meet you where you are, whether it’s in the concept stage or if you already have a business. It’s about how you apply your mind and structure your brain."Except for the Business Box in Swakopmund, there are ones in Walvis Bay, Windhoek, and Oranjemund. They also have an online Business Box to reach those people who are very far away. "It's pretty much a community. We want to build a community of entrepreneurial thinking and focus on the person," he said.
