Although perception-based, this aligns with regular multi-year national development plans (e.g. NDP6, Vision 2030).Areas that weigh down the overall score:Income distribution (120th), with Namibia’s 2023 pre-tax Gini coefficient estimated at 0.73 by UNU-WIDER.Spending efficiency (118th), with weak or stagnant health and education outcomes, alongside a rising share of youth not in employment, education or training (NEET), indicating poor translation of public outlays into results.Employment outcomes (117th).
