#JustIn: Grootfontein CEO Sinvula fired
The Grootfontein municipality has dismissed its CEO Kisco Sinvula, following a special council meeting held this morning.
Sinvula returned to work this week after the High Court nullified his suspension last week. The court reversed Sinvula's suspension on the basis that it was not done with permission from the line minister, Erastus Uutoni.
Council this morning resolved to fire Sinvula and pay him money equal to the salary and benefits of the remainder of his contract. His monthly salary was N$80 000.
