A legal secretary is a professional who works in a legal office or law firm to provide administrative assistance. She had always wanted to test out the legal field to see whether it was a good fit for her before committing to a full law degree."It was important for me to learn about the environment and see if it was right for me before I fully committed," she said.Legal secretaries must be well-versed in legal procedures, language and documentation. Because lawyers are extremely busy and most things are time-sensitive, multitasking and the ability to absorb and understand things quickly are vital. Having an administrative diploma or certificate will be quite beneficial.
