Lawyer donates N$25 000 to top Ohangwena learner

Namibian lawyer Henry Shimutwikeni has donated N$25 000 to Jermia Haipinge, the Ohangwena region’s top-performing Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level learner.

The donation was announced during the year opening event at Haimbili Haufiku Secondary School. Haipinge, whose academic excellence earned him the region's top spot, is set to begin his bachelor's degree in engineering at the University of Namibia (Unam).

"Honoured to have donated N$25 000... to Jermia Haipinge," Shimutwikeni announced. "Wishing him all the best as he begins his engineering journey at Unam,” he added.

This gesture highlights the growing trend of professionals investing directly in Namibia’s future technical talent.
