Police pounce on N$5.6m in cannabis

On Monday, the Namibian Police arrested Gotlieb Sem (34) for being in possession of 113.5 kilograms skunk cannabis, valued at N$5.6 million.
Sem was arrested in Windhoek's Lafrenz Industrial Area of Windhoek following an intelligence-led tip-off.
He appeared in court yesterday and is remanded in custody. The matter was postponed to 9 November.
