Man arrested for raping teenage daughter at Oshakati
A man has been arrested at Evululuko location in Oshakati for allegedly raping his teenage daughter between April and July this year.
Oshana police crime investigations coordinator, deputy commissioner Fredrick Ndjadila, said the rapes were allegedly committed at night.
Ndadjila said the victim was in her father\'s room, popping pimples on his face, when the father started touching his daughter’s breast, then his daughter told him to stop. He undressed his daughter and inserted his finger into her vagina without her consent.
“He then undressed himself and he forceful had sexual intercourse with her daughter without her consent and after he finished he warned her not to tell anyone, if she does then he will kill himself,” he said.
Ndjadila said the second time the alleged rape happened was in July, when he went into his daughter\'s room and collected her, and they went to his sleeping room, where he undressed his daughter and allegedly raped her again.
He stated that the 38-year-old man has been arrested and is expected to appear in the Oshakati Magistrates\' Court on Thursday.
