#JustIn: GBV claims yet another victim

The 31-year-old Eva Leena Kalimbo from the Eveline neighbourhood in Eenhana became part of the country's ever-rising statistics for gender-based violence early this morning, after she was allegedly murdered by her boyfriend. Laurence Kapule Ndaoya allegedly slit Kalimbo's throat and stabbed her repeatedly with a sharp object. He was shot dead by the police a few hours later when he resisted arrest.
