A 39-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly stealing seven goats from his employer at Okandombo village in Oshikoto Region.

Oshikoto police spokesperson, Inspector Ellen Nehale, said the incident occurred between December 2022 and April 2023, on an unknown day, date, and time in the Omuntele constituency.

Nehale said the suspect allegedly stole the goats from his employer, where he worked as a domestic worker.

"The suspect took the goats one by one from the complainant's house, where he was employed at Onamavo village. He was caught while attempting to sell one goat around April 2023," she said.

Nehale said four goats with two kids have been recovered. The recovered stock is valued at N$7 000.

The suspect will appear in Ondangwa Magistrate’s Court this week.
