Baby repeatedly raped, then killed

A baby, aged one year and 10 months, was allegedly repeatedly raped on various occasions and then last weekend assaulted to death at Iitananga-Omukuku village in the Omusati Region. A 40-year-old man, who lives in the same house as the victim, was arrested yesterday morning.

“The suspect was arrested after information was received that [Tuesday] night [he] was trying to rape two other girls, aged seven and 10,” Omusati police regional commander, Commissioner Ismael Basson, told the media.
