PNA to open in Windhoek in June

Franchisees and store owners, Chris and Tana van der Merwe, are proud to open the first two PNA stores in Namibia.

From the franchise’s side, PNA is excited and looking forward to welcoming customers to the Wernhil Shopping Centre and Maerua Mall retail outlets in June this year.

To ensure that the PNA product selection and offering meet the requirements of the local community, a PNA team was sent to Namibia to do some old-fashioned legwork. The brief was simply to find out what the Namibian people want and find persons that could assist in making this happen.

“Our Namibian shoppers can expect stores light, bright and full of stationery!” said Herman Botha, PNA Group Marketing & Sales Executive. “Another great aspect to our shopper experience is our variety of specialized arts & crafts materials offering with the occasional workshops that are hosted in store for aspiring artists.”

PNA will be partnering with prominent crafters in Windhoek to create a platform for likeminded crafters and artists by offering art and craft classes at their store in Maerua Mall.

With 114 independent owner-run franchise stores in South Africa, the group has grown from its humble beginnings in 1992 to become a reputable, sought-after franchise entity.

Along with creating employment opportunities in Namibia, PNA is also actively seeking opportunities to support local businesses and suppliers. “We are committed to not only supplying a comprehensive range of products, our key strategy is to also support Namibian businesses. This extends to our CSI initiatives supporting local charities too. We hope to become a well-loved brand in Namibia.”
