#JustIn: Car accidents claim two lives
Two Namibians died over the weekend in accidents allegedly caused by reckless driving.
A seven-year-old boy was killed instantly in Omuthiya when his 63-year-old grandfather allegedly reversed a double cab bakkie. The boy reportedly succumbed to head injuries, and the suspect is expected to appear in the Ondangwa magistrate's court tomorrow.
In Mariental, a 27-year-old man was arrested after allegedly driving without a driver's license and under the influence of alcohol. His reckless driving reportedly led to the death of another man, who succumbed to head injuries.
In another incident, a man (26) is in stable condition after allegedly being hit by a 30-year-old man with a car in Ongwediva.
