JUST IN: Christmas care
With Christmas around the corner, organisations such as FNB Namibia and Project Hope Namibia have taken it upon themselves to begin to spread the Christmas spirit through grand acts of charity. Today at the Katutura College of the Arts Centre, FNB Namibia handed over 460 Joy Boxes to beneficiaries of the Namibia Adherence and Retention Project (NARP) for children aged 0-2, 3–13, and 14–18 years of age. These boxes include non-perishable food items, stationery, self-care kits, cosmetics, and baby care items. NARP is one of Project Hope Namibia’s flagship programmes that provides comprehensive services to people infected with and/or affected by HIV. The programme was established in 2013 and has since supported more than 100 000 people.
