Japan donates classrooms to Unam
Japan’s Ambassador to Namibia, Shinichi Asazuma, yesterday handed over donated vehicles and equipment from the Government of Japan to the University of Namibia campus. Asazuma said more classrooms will be added to schools across Namibia this year as ongoing projects and pending handovers are finalised. “One school in the Hardap Region will receive six classrooms and an ablution block, another school in the Ohangwena Region will receive five classrooms and one storeroom, while a school in Kavango East will get four new classrooms,” he said.
