Trade deficit almost doubles
Namibia recorded a trade deficit of N$8.3 billion in the first quarter of 2018 compared to N$4.8 billion recorded in the first quarter of 2017, according to data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) this morning.
In the last quarter of 2017, the trade deficit was N$5.5 billion.
