Cellphone confiscation at Khomas High
Khomas High School is confiscating and detaining children's cellphones, wristwatches and other gadgets. This is despite their written policy stating that the items will be released upon payment of N$50 and that parents have requested an amnesty so that these items can be returned. The school is determined to only return them by the end of the year. In this fast-changing world of technology today, will those items still be usable by the end of year? The other concern is whether those items are still safe and intact and properly recorded on a register. Is the school willing to reimburse us if the items disappear or become obsolete, because I am sure they are stored with their batteries inside.
NDF must take security guards
To deal with the unemployment rate in Namibia, government must look at and think about security guards. Government must take all the security guards and offer them jobs in the NDF and the police to reduce unemployment in the country. Many young men and women are being mistreated by security companies. Please do something about this.
Ongulumbashe
Lot Ndamanomhata got it wrong. Tobias Hainyeko never fired the first bullet at Ongulumbashe in August 1966. He was the then Swala's commander-in-chief. Do your homework young Swapo activist.
Time change
Namibians can complain. The time change has been in effect since almost forever and it won't go away any time soon. Deal with it already.
Damara keyboard
I am really curious, please someone help me here. How do they type Damara on the computer? I mean, with all those strokes, characters and tones, is there a specific Damara keyboard or input method? Thank you.
