NHE suspends Titus
The suspension was announced in a leaked memo.
The National Housing Enterprise (NHE) this week suspended its senior manager for business development and operations, Willem Titus.
The company announced the suspension in a leaked internal memo seen by Namibian Sun.
“All staff members are humbly cautioned not to directly communicate with Mr Willem G Titus relating to any matter of the NHE.
“Official correspondences at senior management level in the department should be channelled directly to my office until further notice,” NHE CEO Gisbertus Mukulu wrote to staff.
NHE spokesperson Eric Libongani also confirmed the suspension, but was cagey about the details that led to it.
“I wish to confirm that indeed Mr Willem G Titus, senior manager: business development and operations was suspended, effective Tuesday, 17 September 2019. Furthermore, be informed that this issue is treated as an internal matter and will strictly be dealt with in line with NHE's laid down internal procedures and other applicable processes,” he said.
