Mukwiilongo gets official funeral
Former Omusati governor Leonard Nangolo Mukwiilongo, who died last week in a northern hospital, will be given a special official funeral, the presidency has confirmed.
Mukwiilongo succumbed to injuries after he was brutally attacked at his Elim residence in April this year.
He was 92.
Minister of Presidential Affairs Frans Kapofi confirmed that Mukwiilongo will get an official funeral this weekend.
Mukwiilongo will be laid to rest on Saturday at Elim, while a memorial service will be held at his residence at Onatshiku at 14:00 this Friday.
