Ketjiere remains positive at AmaTuks
Brave Warriors captain Ronald Ketjiere has confidence after his club University of Pretoria lost 1-0 to National First Division Mbombela United in the playoff of the Absa Premiership on Sunday afternoon.
Ketjiere, who captains AmaTuks, said the team must "keep their heads up" following a disappointing 1-0 home loss to Mbombela United.
AmaTuks succumbed to Mxolisi Gumede's 41st-minute goal at Tuks Stadium.
"We missed a lot of chances, a lot of free headers which we didn't capitalise on,” said Ketjiere.
"We still have three games to go; we have to keep our heads up."
He said it was a tough day and they were supposed to collect maximum points in the home game.
"We didn't play well. With the chances we created we should have got a point,” he said.
The Absa Premiership side will play their second game of the promotion/relegation playoffs on 11 June against Peter Shalulile’s Highlands Park, who humiliated Mbombela 3-0 last week Wednesday.
