Keeping it real
Recently, we've had some new names on this page. The response has been awesome, but I've also received some resentful opinions.
Asking why the page didn't have any big names on it. Suggesting that it sucks that, as popular as some of these new artists may be, there are still people who have never heard of them and, to these readers, these artists are just random musicians. Well, that's the whole point, isn't it?
The purpose of this page is to help expose talent that doesn't receive a platform through other commercial mediums.
What's the use of having established artists on here all the time when they already get TV and radio airplay, while there's a kid in the north or south who could be the next Gazza or Tate Buti, but isn't getting the chance to be heard?
Think about that.
