The School of Excellence Hockey Club started training at the UN Plaza in Katutura this week.
Training takes place every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 18:00 to 19:30.
Coach Erwin Handura said the club was established in 2019 and entered for the Indoor National League in 2020 with Under-14 boys' and girls' teams.
The U-14 teams finished third in their respective leagues in 2020.
“This year we aim to enter three men's and women's teams in the Indoor National League scheduled to start on 12 February,” Handura said.

The School of Excellence also has an academy for junior players from six to 12 years of age. Parents who want their kids to start playing hockey at an early age can contact the coach too.
