Inflation at highest level this year
Data released by the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) shows the annual inflation figure for July at 4.5% - up from 4% the previous month.
The main driver for the increase was the spike in annual transport inflation, which increased from 7.2% in May to 8.9% last month.
Overall food inflation dropped from 4% to 3.2%.
