The regional police commander in the Kavango West Region, Commissioner Josephat Abel, confirmed that the remains were discovered by a community member, who stumbled upon a human skull while looking for lost cattle.

“It is alleged the 15-year-old boy came across the human remains as well as clothing items believed to be that of the deceased male person,” the regional commander said.
