Embracing the new normal
Staff Reporter - Salt Essential IT inaugurated their new office last week.
The company has embraced the “new normal” and in light of this, staff members will be moving into a smaller office space and will also have the added option of working from home.
Salt has seen an increase of over 700% in the use of the tools that they provide customers in order to work remotely. Business are now able to deliver smarter services to their customers, and the way technology is consumed allows for an overall operational cost saving, enabling them to weather any economic storm that may come their way.
The event consisted of the official inauguration by Salt’s chairman of the board, Bisey Uirab, followed by a talk by professor Anicia Peters, pro-vice chancellor: research, innovation and development at the University of Namibia (UNAM).
“I wish you all the prosperity, success and joy in your new office. Keep up the good work,” Uirab said after cutting the ribbon.
Salt Essential IT is the Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Winner of 2020 as well as the winner of three Diamond Arrow awards in 2020 for cloud services, data centres and ICT consulting.
