Editor’s Note

Becoming the editor of the Wennie Pulse Editorial Team will always be an achievement to write home about. It has been a wonderful, overwhelming yet exciting journey, being part of a wonderful team of writers, photographers, videographers and in all hardworking talented learners of the Wennie du Plessis Editorial Team. I’ve learnt a lot and gained monumental skills that moulded me into a young aspiring journalist and writer. Although 2020 was a perplexing year for the whole world, I’m excessively grateful to have attended the 2020 media camp alongside the sub-editor earlier this year in February. It was indeed an experience of a lifetime. Through the camp we were able to give feedback and share the knowledge and skills to the rest of the media club members. Moreover, the new normal might be quite unpredictable and scary, but it shouldn’t stop you from having the best time of your life as a wise man once said, “Lost time is never found.”
