Citizens set for Magic clash
Citizens are adamant they will collect full points today, when they clash with fifth-placed Tura Magic in what is expected to be an entertaining NPL match.
Citizens FC owner and coach, David Goagoseb, is positive that his team will reap maximum points in today's Namibia Premier League (NPL) encounter against Tura Magic at the Sam Nujoma Stadium.
Magic sits comfortably in the top five, with 30 points, while Citizens is in the 10th spot with 20 points.
However, is undeterred by what has transpired so far during the 2017/18 season and says that his vision and aspirations for his club remain clear.
“We are positive and will enter the match to compete and not to make up numbers. The players are ready and we need the points and will obtain them, I'm 150% sure,” he said.
Tura Magic coach James Britz could not be reached for comment at the time of going to print.
He took over the reins of the club from Paulus Shipanga in November last year and is acting as a caretaker coach, until a substantive mentor is appointed.
