10 July 2019 | Education

The Namibian Presidency, by way of its press secretary Alfredo Hengari, has announced that Martin Andjaba, currently minister of presidential affairs in the Presidency, has been appointed as the acting education minister, following Katrina Hanse-Himarwa's resignation yesterday.
"With seven months before the end of the term of the current government, President Hage Geingob has decided not to appoint a new education minister.
Andjaba will assume all the statutory functions of the education minister, the Presidency said.
