Former champions Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr will meet in an eight-round exhibition fight at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles on Saturday night.

The eight-round exhibition fight, which is titled 'Frontline Battle', is the first event of a series produced by Legends Only League.

Throughout the Covid-19 lockdown, Tyson has been showing off his incredible body transformation and looks in prime condition despite turning 54- years old in June.

After a postponement, Tyson and the 51-year-old Jones will finally meet in the ring in a fight that local boxing promoter Joseph Bernard predicts will end in Jones's favour.

Local boxing promoter Nestor Tobias in August this year already put his money on Tyson. “Tyson is a natural,” he said.

Tyson was one of the most feared heavyweights in history, dominating the division in the late 1980s and becoming the youngest heavyweight champion ever with brutal punching power that carried him to a 37-0 record.

His opponent Jones was named the best boxer of the 1990s by Ring Magazine. At his best, Jones displayed a dazzling combination of speed, power and defence, while being able to showboat in fantastic and improbable ways.

Jones won world championships in the middleweight, super middleweight, light heavyweight, and eventually heavyweight classes in a historic accomplishment.

According to CBS Sports, there will be no official judges but WBC has appointed three ex-fighters to determine an unofficial winner.

The two fighters will not be required to wear headgear.
