So many people hate me

Dear Auntie Nangy, I’m a 21-year-old girl and I’m seven months pregnant from a guy of 23. We broke up and many people hate me. Even if they find me with someone else they start gossiping about me and they like saying “That girl is a bitch” but I’m not! I don’t know what to do Auntie.

Answer:

Ignore them. People who are rude and malicious have no place in your life and you don’t need to even bother with them. And Auntie can never say this enough - even though you broke up with this guy he still has a responsibility towards you and his child and he should never turn his back on this responsibility whatever the reason for your break up might have been. Show these people that you are better than them by not lowering yourself to their level. Be dignified and realise your own worth and show them by your actions that you are better than they are. Be strong and be proud.
