FNB unveils cost-considerate EasyBond

FNB Namibia on Friday launched its new EasyBond product for clients wishing to purchase homes.
The FNB EasyBond caters to individuals or partners with income up to N$35 000, who wish to purchase homes of up to N$1.2 million.
At the launch in Windhoek, FNB Namibia CEO Sarel van Zyl said the product includes life insurance, meaning clients would not need to go for additional medical testing for loans below a certain amount.
The life insurance includes permanent and temporary disability cover, as well as dread disease and funeral cover.
“You will appreciate the fact that this product has been deliberately designed to house as many Namibians as possible, as easily as possible, and supplements the current Harambee Prosperity Plan, and the president’s declaration that no one should be left behind,” Van Zyl said.
“I can assure you that we take every comment and suggestion of all our stakeholders seriously and will do everything we can to satisfy everyone’s financial needs.”
In addition, the bank said it would extend free home ownership training to successful candidates.
