I slept with his brother
Auntie Nangy
I do not know if this is right but I am still in love with my ex-boyfriend. I am the one who caused the break up because I slept with his brother while I was drunk. What can I do to get my man back?
You did a very stupid thing to sleep with boyfriend’s brother. Both you and your boyfriend’s brother are very irresponsible and selfish people driven by lust. Your behaviour can cause serious problems between the two brothers. You sound like a mature person but your behaviour is very irresponsible. I am sorry to tell you that there is little that I can do to help you to get your man back because it up to him to have you back or not. You betrayed him and hurt him. You made your own bed, lie in it.

Am I normal?
Dear Aunty Nangy
I am a girl aged 15 and I have problem with my body. My body is small for my age. I look like a Grade 5 kid. I also have problems sleeping at night and I take long to fall asleep. Please assist me.
My dear, your problem is difficult to handle because I cannot see you. You may not have a problem with your body because children in Grade 5 have different size bodies and there is no standard size for a grade. Our body sizes are different because of many reasons that include different genes, different diets and different lifestyles. If you want to have peace of mind then I suggest that you see a doctor.

Lazy to fall in love
Dear Aunty Nangy
I am a 22-year-old young man. I have a problem when it comes to lovemaking. I find it hard to get a girlfriend to love and sleep with and I am a virgin up to now. I have never had sex. Surely, I used to have strong feelings for women. Sometimes I am just lazy to find anyone. Please Aunty, help me.
Your problem is not a problem because you allow yourself to be in that situation. You even know why you do not have a girlfriend and according to you it is because you are lazy to find one. Aunty Nangy cannot find you one because you want to be sex fed. I cannot bring a woman into your bed because you may still be lazy to sleep with her. Get out and get the woman my dear.

I am confused
Dear Aunty Nangy
I was dating this guy but he always used to tell me that he didn’t love me and yet he would always came to our place and that really confused me. I don’t know what to do now. Please help me.
Being in love and visiting someone are not related. If person is not in love with you that does not mean that they will not enjoy visiting you. Please don’t confuse the two. It appears that you have a crush on someone who does not love you or want to fall in love with you. If you have the patience then wait for him to propose. Patience pays.

Dumped for kissing another girl
Dear Aunty Nangy
I have a problem with my girlfriend. She dumped me when she saw me kissing another girl but she is not mine. I love her so much. What should I do so that she can come back?
Your girlfriend must have been deeply hurt and I understand how she feels right now. When people are in love seriously, it means that there is no other person that is as special as the one you love. If you really loved her then why did you kiss or flirt with another girl? If you really love her then be honest enough to humble yourself and apologise for what you have done. It may take a lot of persuading but if you show her that you are genuinely sorry she will take you back. We all make stupid mistakes.

Pregnant but I want to abort
Dear Aunty Nangy
I am a 17-year-old lady who is two months pregnant and I would like to abort the pregnancy. Is it possible for the pregnancy to be terminated at this stage?
I don’t understand why you want to terminate that pregnancy. Is it for medical reasons? I strongly discourage you to have the abortion. You are going to kill an innocent soul. It is unfair that you had unprotected sex and now you don’t want to have that baby. You made a choice to have sex but that choice did not have a choice. Think about it seriously and ask yourself why you want to have an abortion. If you still want to have an abortion then ask a doctor for medical advice – remember it is illegal in Namibia.
