FOR ALL: Everyone is welcome.
Well maybe those days are not gone - but Pamodzi has not lost its touch. Yes Pamodzi is open and it’s happening.
Situated in the heart of Luxury Hill, Katutura, Antiochie Street, the upstairs club and pub is now more secure, and an ideal Katutura hang-out spot. There is a carwash, a bottle store, the pub and a supermarket in one yard.
Although they don’t sell food they do have a ‘sheesa nyama’ (braai) every Saturdays afternoons and a fish braai every Sundays afternoons.
Kandoroma the owner of Pamodzi says his place is not under new management, still under the old.
“But this time round, things are being run differently and the security is very tight. We are renting the upstairs part out for parties and meetings, where the club use to be,” said the confident Kandoroma.
Pamodzi is a great social hang-out for people, old or young, looking for a fun and an interesting venue with a pleasant atmosphere for a great party, get-together, or just to watch the big game. Where they don’t tolerate mis-behaving and unruliness.
“My customers respect each other, the young ones, for instance, know where the older customers are they don’t bother them at all and vice versa,” said the owner, who welcomes his customers with peerless hospitality.
Pamodzi has two toilets and a secure outside area. Inside you find a pool table, three gambling machines and a modern Juke Box with 650 different songs. In the warmer seasons Pamodzi has provided space for its customers to enjoy the summer sky with exclusive brandies, whiskies and beers as well as many other drinks.
Pamodzi opens from Mondays till Sundays. Weekdays from 10:00 am till 23:45 and weekends from 08:00 am till 02:00 am.
