Entire bridal party ends up in lake
Married life got off to a rather shaky start for one unlucky couple after their entire bridal party was unexpectedly plunged into a lake when the dock they were posing for photos on collapsed.
Lovebirds Eric and Maegan Walber, and a group of their wedding guests, were left drenched after the unexpected turn of events.
After watching the couple tie the knot, the wedding party enjoyed a meal before making their way to Bay Pointe Inn on Gun Lake in Michigan for some snaps.
However the full-up group were soon left in the deep end when the wooden platform they were standing on gave way under their considerable collective weight.
“'We were out there for probably 30 seconds, standing on the dock, and it started to lean and tilt,' Mr Walber explained to 24 Hour News 8.
“We went right under.”
The hilarious moment was caught on camera by one guest who promised the bride that the video would soon be making its way onto YouTube.
It was later uploaded onto the video-sharing website where it has racked up over one million hits in a matter of days.
Luckily the new bride was able to see the funny side - despite having to make a quick change of outfit.
“It makes for a good story,” she said. “We'll be telling our grandkids.”
And they'll be able to watch it back for the rest of time - along with the rest of us.
