From the fun, girly designs she has done up to now she moved into designing more mature, elegant and deceptively simple clothes. She describes herself as hard working and committed to her work. “I strive to do the best in everything and do it with passion, which I believe at the end of the day makes you sucessful. Linda is coming of age

Linda has two hit singles out and they are taking the airwaves by storm, ‘Coming of Age’ and ‘Always be my Love’ with two additional tracks entitled ‘Oko-uleya’ and ‘Do you Believe’ which is a continuation of her hit ‘Believe’.

Twice as nice: Brooklyn and Kimorah

BK recently released debut single Get Ready and Namibian Sun decided to get to know this dynamic duo a bit better. We found out that hard work is what makes them tick.

There is a fresh new dynamic duo in town called Brooklyn and Kimorah (BK) - real names Makazo Mwangala (Brooklyn) who was born in Zambia and Selma Neshiko (Kimorah) who was born in Luderitz. This duo is certainly breaking new ground and recently released their debut single called Get Ready with three additional tracks.

Black Door takes a bite out of the “Big Apple”

Namibian musician Black Door has been based in New York for over a year and a half and has already made his Big Screen debut.

Most of you may remember him for his colourful suits and his unique dance moves, but Namibian Afro-Kwaito artist, Black Door, is quickly making a name for himself in the American entertainment industry.

The 31-year-old entertainer was born in exile as Moses Shilongo and is now based in the “Big Apple”, New York. Besides being a musician, he is also acting and modelling.

Black Door has already appeared as an extra in the hit television series Law and Order. He has also had a small part in a movie called Home, which was his Big Screen debut. Read more about Black Door takes a bite out of the “Big Apple”

After attending a successful sixth Namibian Women Summit, Namibia’s First Lady Penehupifo Pohamba took her counterparts in South African Ambassador to Namibia Elizabeth Thabethe and Windhoek Mayor Ellaine Trepper and other dignitaries to a special musical performance of local women.
