pssst! thinks the radio industry in Namibia is an idealistic world on its own. Not only are they constantly playing musical chairs, but it seems every radio presenter has a title these days. At 99fm, Corry calls himself public relations officer, while pssst! thought he was the receptionist. The same can be said about Radio Energy’s apparent public relations manager, Ruby The-Dime. Hopefully her public relations duties will keep her off air, something pssst! will appreciate. Anyway pssst! is happy for Fresh FM’s Rose Nelumbo, who has been promoted to music manager. It seems nothing is constant at Namibian radio stations and station hopping continues. Anyway, pssst! hears the latest in radioville is that Nicole from Mobipay will soon join 99fm. Unconfirmed rumours are that the soft-spoken Nicole will be replacing Cassey, who was shown the door recently. pssst! understands that Unam Radio’s Charlie Mutengu has also left in pursuit of greener pastures and has joined the Fresh FM family. pssst! is, however, skeptical about this move, as no one ever stays long at Fresh FM. Sadly, poor Unam radio is also losing some of its best presenters. Read more about Nicole joins 99fm as Charlie makes a Fresh start

It’s that time of the year again where university registration has ended and rumours are going around that foreigners are again registering as students (even though they don’t intend on attending classes) in an attempt to obtain a study permit and remain in the peaceful Land of the Brave.
But what bothers pssst! is that she now heard some of these non- Namibians are actually working here while by law you are prevented to seek employment when you are in the country on a study permit. Pssst! Read more about Hot Goss

Pssst! was so delighted when she saw rapper Mapps registering at Unam the other day. Most of you will probably not remember him (these rappers are all so forgettable) but anyway, he had a collaboration with equally forgettable group The Saints, titled Where We Be At. But Mapps isn’t the only one who has returned to school.
pssst! hears 99fm presenter Uejaa Kazondunge is now also a first year student at the Polytechnic of Namibia. Read more about Celebrities going back to school
