Economists, analysts - and even Finance Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila - yesterday discussed the pros and cons associated with the national budget she revealed this week.
While initial responses to Finance Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila’s 2013/14 budget speech on Tuesday has been largely positive, analysts yesterday questioned whether government’s ‘generous’ budget may not in fact hold grim consequences for the country’s citizens.

Crop producing farmers may soon look forward to more local and affordable fertiliser, depending on the success of a new initiative between the Okorusu mine near Otavi and the Namibian Agronomic Board.
