Local councils have thrown their weight behind a proposal that leaders of northern towns should set up one joint trade fair to bring sustainable growth to the entire region instead of concentrating on an individual rewards system. During Tuesday’s launch of the Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition (OTIE), Prime Minister Nahas Angula appealed to local leaders of northern towns to consider setting up a joint trade fair to attract more people to the region and give visitors value for money.
