The Antonio-Elvo Music Project recently scouted for talent by holding auditions after which the winner will be signed under their label. Although co-owner Antonio says some artists did not come prepared, “there is a lot of talent in Namibia”. From the 15 artists they auditioned only four were successful. For the first time ever in Namibia, the National Theatre of Namibia(NTN), Spoken Word and Free your mind collaborated with show under the theme Speak the word and Free the mind, a fusion of poetry and comedy. Holla my peeps . Eish, this time around I got hold of Mix Alert from 24 Reg. I didn’t have a clue of what to expect from this album. As soon as I played it, Jump On Train gave me a clue of what to expect. The song was all over the place. I didn’t hesitate to skip it, it doesn’t sound complete. I skipped to Sunrise and all I could say is LOL.

Remember the Independence show that took place in WHK last week? Dr Mulongeni was part of the committee helped to choose the artists that performed on that day. pssst! was informed that most of Mulongeni’s artists were selected to perform, including Tequila, Lady May and Uno Boy. The funny thing

Lindsay Lohan has just learned another lesson as to why crime doesn't pay. She has to jump through hoops to get a Canadian work permit to shoot a movie that could give her career a much needed boost.
Lindsay has been cast as Liz Taylor in the Lifetime movie Liz and Dick which will be shot in Toronto.
Problem is, Lindsay has 2 DUIs and a theft conviction on her record, and Canada doesn't much like convicted criminals earning cash in Canuck country, then again, they like money. I am really proud of Namibian artists - to a certain extent. They always make sure that those who do not buy their music albums support them by wearing their T-shirts. Almost every singer in Namibia has his of her own T-shirts, which is a step up, you know. It’s high time we get up there. We of course have the ones leading in these things - such as The Dogg who not only has T-shirts but shirts as well. But ya’ll be patient. You will all get there one day.
